AEWA: Award for Waterbird Conservation. Deadline: 31 August 2011

All across the Agreement area people and organizations are working selflessly towards the conservation of migratory waterbirds.

The AEWA Waterbird Conservation Award honours their efforts and their dedication. The Award will be presented in two categories – institutional and individual. In addition each of the winners will receive a cash prize of USD 5,000.

Institutions and citizens from all nations are invited to nominate individuals or institutions – governmental and non-governmental, including community groups or private sector enterprises – of any country in the Agreement area for the AEWA Waterbird Conservation Award 2012.

If you wish to nominate an individual or institution worthy of particular merit, the deadline for submission of nominations has been extended to 31 August 2011.
