In Cameroon’s northernmost region, deforestation and desertification put people’s livelihoods at risk. As trees protect the soil against erosion, retain water, fertilise plants and provide shade & fire wood, forests are key to sustaining the livelihoods of rural communities.
In a 360-degree movie, GIZ tells the story of three forest and landscape restoration champions in Mogzang. GIZ’s Forest and Environment Project (ProFE) supports their effort and their community.
