The course will provide UN senior staff, government representatives and leaders in the business sector with substantive guidance on sustainable development programming, partnerships and implementation. It will focus on the interdependence of the three pillars of sustainable development and through role-plays and consensus building activities the challenges facing implementation will be discussed and debated. This unique course, bringing together a diverse audience from within and outside the Organisation will also focus on the complementarities of the respective partners, and the catalytic role the UN will have to play to ensure development effectiveness.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Senior UN international and national headquarters and field staff (P5 and up), leaders from the business sector; senior civil society leaders and government officials involved in the implementation of Agenda 2030.
