03/04.11.2020 | ZEF 2-day panel discussion: Linking Science to Policy for the Sustainable Use & Conservation of Biodiversity

Do you work in the field of Biodiversity Conservation? Are you also interested in the Science-Policy interface but not sure how and where to start? Then join us for an online workshop on November 3 and 4, 2020 – 3 pm CET co-organized by the Young Ecosystem Services Specialists (YESS) and the West African Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (WABES). The theme of the workshop is “Linking Science and Policy for Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biodiversity” and it aims to provide valuable knowledge to address gaps between scientists and policymakers and to bring good practices to the science-policy interface at the national level.

In two days of panel discussions, we navigate the world of science-policy interface with some experienced policy-makers and researchers as panellists, learn about the challenges they came across, and ask for advice that they would like to give for starting in this field and to achieve positive outcomes.
