Call for Abstracts: INQUIMUS 2016
UNU-EHS’s Vulnerability Assessment, Risk Management & Adaptive Planning Section (VARMAP) is co-organizing the INQUIMUS 2016 workshop on scenarios of future vulnerability and risk pathways, taking place this September in Salzburg.
The workshop aims at discussing innovative methods on how to develop and apply such future-oriented vulnerability scenarios through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Emphasis will also be put on questions of practical applicability of scenarios to be used by planners and decision-makers.
The workshop will be moderated to foster an interactive and generative event. Invited keynotes will present the state-of-the-art of particular methods followed by a focused discussion on current achievements and challenges. Case studies will be debated in presentations and posters by workshop participants.
