A Pathway Out of Poverty? Improving Rural Livelihoods in Africa through the Diffusion of Sustainable Innovation is a film presenting a market-based initiative to promote sustainable development through the introduction of simple technologies in targeted villages in western Kenya. The film was made by Ann Åkerman and Barry Ness, Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies – an Earth System Governance Research Centre. The film illustrates the opportunities and challenges of alternative publication formats as well as co-design of research. View it here.
