15 – 16.12.2011 | EADI: Masterclass on Evaluations in Development Cooperation – free spaces available

As an interactive workshop, this Masterclass will focus on key aspects of evaluation in the context of development projects and programs. Training participants will be able to discuss tasks to conduct during an evaluation in the planning, implementation and reporting phase.

Methodological as well as organizational aspects will be highlighted. Exercises during the workshop will facilitate practical skills-building for participants’ future work. Examples will illustrate the training content and will cover evaluations with the focus on measuring impacts.

Trainer

The trainer will be Mrs. Nicola Reade-Soh, a freelance consultant with six years of experience in the field of evaluation & training in development cooperation. Her special interest lies in impact evaluation and results based monitoring. During her time working at the Center for Evaluation she acquired solid practical and theoretical experience in conducting impact evaluations using quantitative and qualitative data collection methods and applying rigorous evaluation designs. She has worked in various sectors such as education, vocational training, water, health, natural resources, energy, forestry and in various countries such as China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Thailand, Uganda, USA, Vietnam, Zambia.
