07.06.2010 | ZEF: Water lecture “New Worlds of Water”

ZEF (Zentrum für Entwicklungsforschung) would like to cordially invite you to the next Water Lecture: “New Worlds of Water”, held by Margret Catley-Carlson (Chair of Global Water Partnership).

Ms. Catley-Carlson is a global leader in matters of water policy. She is the Chair of the Global Water Partnership and Past President of the Canadian International Development Agency and Population Council and serves on various international Boards, including the World Economic Forum Agenda Council on Water. In her lecture the speaker will be touching on security, climate implications, agricultural change needed, new approaches and technologies and the imperative for policy change.

The Water Lecture series is a joint series organized by the Center for Development Research (ZEF), the UN-Water Decade Programme on Capacity Development (UNW-DPC), the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS), and the Global Water System Project (GWSP).
