In cooperation with the International Centre for Sustainable Development (IZNE) The second bonnallianceICB lecture series „Benefits from Sustainability?!“ will start on Thursday, October 10th and will feature a total of five lectures. We will talk about the potential benefits of sustainability which we encounter at the global and local level.

In cooperation with the German Develeopment Institute / Deutsches Institut für Ent-wicklungspolitik (DIE): The first bonnallianceICB lecture series “Forty years after the ‘Imperative of Responsibility’. Ethics of Technology Choice in Times of Eroding Planetary Boundaries“ dealing with ethical questions on digitalization in the context of sustainability takes place from April, 25 until December, 11 (8 lectures) in English.
October 16, 2019 4/8: Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence – Towards a bright future or mass unemployment and Orwellian societies?
The Global Development Network (GDN) is hosting its 19th global development conference on the 23-25 October 2019, to facilitate the research-policy interface in pursuit of the SDGs. The conference will also mark GDN’s 20th anniversary since its launch in 1999. GDN is partnering with the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval) the Bonn Alliance for Sustainability Research/ Innovation Campus Bonn (ICB), and the United Nations University – Institute for Environment and Human Security, under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Oktober und umfasst insgesamt fünf Vorträge. Wir sprechen über potenzielle Vorteile der Nachhaltigkeit, denen wir auf globaler und lokaler Ebene begegnen.

Ethics of Technology Choice in Times of Eroding Planetary Boundaries“, die sich mit den ethischen Fragen der Digitalisierung im Kontext von Nachhaltigkeit auseinan-dersetzt, findet vom 25. April bis 11. Dezember (8 Vorträge) in englischer Sprache statt.

Das Global Development Network (GDN) veranstaltet vom 23.-25. Oktober 2019 die 19. Global Development Conference, um die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Forschung und Politik bei der Erreichung der Agenda 2030 zu erleichtern. Die Konferenz wird zudem das 20-jährige Jubiläum von GDN im Jahr 1999 feiern. GDN kooperiert mit dem Deut-schen Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), dem Deutschen Evaluierungsinstitut der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit (DEval), der Bonner Allianz für Nachhaltigkeitsforschung / Innovations-Campus Bonn (ICB) und dem Institut für Umwelt und menschliche Sicherheit der Universität der Vereinten Nationen unter der Schirmherrschaft des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ).
