19.03. – 27.04.2018 | UNSSC: Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development

The UNSSC Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development will launch its online course on Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development, which will run from 19 March to 27 April 2018.  This six weeks course consisting of six modules is designed in coordination with the National University of Singapore acting through its Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and the Hertie School of Governance based in Berlin.

The course intends to emphasize on the importance of cross-sectoral policy coherence between different levels of government, and on the need for collaboration and networking with diverse stakeholders and actors. Theoretical, practical, and case study based approaches will be used to illustrate and support the concepts. Learning will take place through reading materials, live webinars by distinguished academics and leading experts, and through peer sharing via discussion forum.

The course fee is 500 USD and will cover unlimited access to course materials and recordings, participation in live webinars with renowned subject matter experts on sustainable development and exclusive access to UNSSC online social learning environment. Certificates of Participation will be awarded to participants subject to the completion of all modules and assignments, and participation in all live online sessions and discussion forums for each topic covered in the course.
