15.11.2012 | Bonn Sustainability Portal: Conference panel "Stimulating women entrepreneurship in economic entrepreneurship programmes"

The partners of the Bonn Sustainability Portal cordially invite you to the panel “Stimulating women entrepreneurship in economic entrepreneurship programmes – the role of educational institutions”, which is embedded in the conference “Entrepreneurship in Africa: The case of Ghana. How to partner universities and companies to promote entrepreneurship”, organized by Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

The panel will focus on the question on what universities and educational institution can do to further strengthen the integration of women in economic activities with a focus on women entrepreneurship in Ghana. The key question will be: What needs to be done to promote the inclusion of women in entrepreneurial process beyond early stage financing and mentoring? What is the role of education and teaching to train women to expand their businesses beyond the “micro” level? What are best practice examples?
