    ZEF will host the second international workshop on “Comparative Water Studies” at ZEF from January 20-21, 2012. This workshop is the second in a series, following the first workshop held in London from October 24-25, 2011. See: http://www.zef.de/1548.html?pk=3691&ref=199&view=archive&start=0).

    The upcoming workshop will be carried out in cooperation with the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London, UK, the Irrigation and Water Engineering group of Wageningen University, the Netherlands, and the German Development Institute GDI/DIE, Bonn, Germany.

    In the context of the international “Water Comparative Studies” workshop two public keynote lectures are going to be held:
