[:en]Since 2009 the Bonn Sustainability Portal is part of Bonns widespread landscape of organizations working on sustainability issues. More than 250 Bonn-based national and international organizations address topics related to sustainable development through scientific research, policy implementation or by knowledge transfer. Additionally, the work of 19 UN agencies in Bonn is guided by the motto “shaping a sustainable future”. This local strength in promoting a sustainable future is reflected by our partners and associated partners. The portal is supported financially and editorially by its partners such as the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH or our associated partner the UNSSC Knowledge Center for Sustainable Development. Objectives
The Bonn Sustainability Portal presents knowledge about sustainability generated in Bonn, links actors in the field of sustainability and thereby highlights the potential of Bonn in this realm. The portal promotes the scientific discourse as well as the dialogue between research and politics. Bonn-based organizations post relevant events, news, comments and announcements like e.g. job and training offers. Thus, the Bonn Sustainability Portal provides at once a forum as well as a contact and information network.[:de]Seit 2009 ist das Bonn Sustainability Portal ein Teil der großen Bonner Nachhaltigkeitslandschaft. So finden sich in Bonn und Umgebung über 250 nationale und internationale Organisationen, die sich mit Themen der nachhaltigen Entwicklung befassen, sei es in der wissenschaftlichen Erforschung, der praktischen oder politischen Umsetzung oder im Bereich der Wissensvermittlung. Zudem versammeln sich 19 in Bonn ansässige UN-Einrichtungen unter dem Motto „Nachhaltigkeit gestalten“. Diese lokale Stärke, die Förderung einer nachhaltigen Zukunft, wird durch unsere Partner reflektiert. Das Portal wird sowohl finanziell als auch redaktionell durch Partner wie die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH oder unseren assoziierten Partner das UNSSC Wissenszentrum für Nachhaltige Entwicklung unterstützt. Ziel
Das Bonn Sustainability Portal präsentiert das in Bonn zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit produzierte Wissen, vernetzt Akteure und verdeutlicht das Potential Bonns in diesem Bereich. Es fördert die wissenschaftliche Debatte sowie den Dialog zwischen Wissenschaft und Politik. Bonner Einrichtungen stellen fachbezogene Veranstaltungshinweise, Neuigkeiten, Stellungnahmen und Angebote ein, darunter z.B. auch Jobangebote und Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten. Somit ist das Bonner Sustainability Portal zugleich Forum als auch Kontakt- und Informationsnetzwerk.[:]
