27.09.2022 | Crop diversity day

The Global Crop Diversity Trust (Crop Trust) was established in October 2004 as an international non-profit organization and is working from Bonn to conserve crop diversity and make it available for use globally, forever, for the benefit of everyone. Interested parties may still register for the Crop Diversity Day 2022.

Under the headline ‘Food Security and Crop Diversity: Actionable Solutions for a Healthy World’, there will be a debate and exchange on the critical challenges facing our food systems.

While the climate crisis engulfs the world, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine is having a devastating effect on our global food supply. The world needs actionable solutions that can be scaled up fast. Seeds are a crucial part of those solutions.
