The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) will hold a three-day “United Nations/Germany International Conference on International Cooperation Towards Low-emission and Resilient Societies” from 22 to 24 November at the UN Campus in Bonn. This international conference will bring together space leaders, decision makers and stakeholders involved in disaster risk reduction, climate change and sustainable development to discuss and to develop recommendations on how best to shape thematic priority 6 of the UNISPACE+50 process: “International cooperation towards low-emission and resilient societies”.
