The Climate Summit of Local and Regional Leaders on Sunday, 12 November 2017 in Bonn, Germany will be the jumping off point for key initiatives and partnerships that support implementation of the Paris Climate Agreement.
The Summit will unlock collaboration between cities, regions, businesses, communities and all levels of government to push beyond what any single entity could do alone. This is an essential part of building an implementation architecture for climate action that fosters innovation.
The Climate Summit of Local and Regional Leaders is designed to unlock key partnerships, strengthen collaboration and facilitate direct interaction with national delegates. It will also act as a launch pad for a number of initiatives and partnerships, pushing for swift, effective and integrated climate action across the world, and particularly in climate vulnerable areas of Africa, Least Developed Countries and Small Island Developing States.
