Spotlight on Keynote Speaker – Dr. Noeleen Heyzer

In June 2013 United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, announced the appointment of Dr. Noeleen Heyzer of Singapore, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and current Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), as his Special Adviser for Timor-Leste. She will be a discussant in the first plenary on global middle classes as development actors in a polycentric world. Read more on other international experts who will be at the conference.
