Preparations for this year’s Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum are picking up pace. In cooperation with partner organizations around the world, approximately 40 workshops are in planning. They’ll address a wide range of up-to-date topics relating to data security and civic participation, the role of whistleblowers, online networking and the future of journalism.

The three-day conference will take place from June 30 – July 2, 2014 at the customary venue, the World Conference Center in Bonn, Germany. Online registration begins on Monday, March 17, at the GMF website.

The latest flyer contains details about fees, the program and interesting side events, such as the always-popular boat trip along the Rhine River, evening events, exhibits and special presentations.
