BMBF: Green Talents Competition. Registration Open Until 10 June 2012

The German Federal Government is awarding excellent performance in the field of sustainability research.

Time is counting down: You only have until 10 June to take the opportunity to register for participation in the respected Green Talents Competition of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The 25 award winners will experience groundbreaking research live in the fall of 2012 during a two-week tour through Germany: They will visit notable companies and scientific institutions, meet high-ranking scientists from different disciplines, participate in the 9th BMBG Forum for Sustainability (FONA; http://www.fona.de/en/fona_events.php) in Berlin and thereby receive an intensive first impression of German sustainability research.

Also the winners will then deepen their understanding in 2013 when all of the award winners are invited to a three-month research stay in Germany.

Participants in the competition should be 35 or younger, live outside of Germany, not have German citizenship and most of all the focus of their research should be occupied with unusual perspectives regarding sustainability issues, regardless of the respective field of research.
