The proceedings from last year’s conference, “Human Rights in a Globalized World – Challenges for the Media” are available for downloading. Following on the success of last year, we once again expect more than 1,500 delegates from around the world, including prominent experts from politics, business, academia and the media.
Confirmed speakers include the former President of Indonesia, Jusuf Habibie; famed philosopher and Yale University professor, Thomas Pogge; Ulm University professor and member of the Club of Rome, Franz Josef Radermacher; and author and South African anti-apartheid activist, Denis Goldberg.
Other invited guests include the President of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, German Foreign Minister, Guido Westerwelle, and Mohamed Ibn Chambas, the Secretary General of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP).
