The conference theme “Green Economy – from intention to action”, will emphasize the importance of business. It will consider, which economic model we should adopt for the future and what, in practice, constitutes a “green economy”? Using the examples of various value chains – especially in the sectors of food, textiles, wood and paper products – important issues will be discussed and concrete solutions developed. In this way, the entire lifecycle of selected products will be examined. Other topics that will also be discussed include the role played by consumers, resource efficiency, and fair “benefit sharing” investments in the remaining natural water, land and forest resources.
When: November 27-28, 2012
Where: World Conference Center Bonn, Germany
