If yes, then propose your challenge as a project topic for the MGG Academy!
A suitable project topic
- asks how a concrete change can be achieved,
- is relevant for you as the idea giver,
- is related to real processes,
- is related to the Agenda 2030 and the SDGs,
- is limited and can be addressed within three weeks time.
Background
The MGG Academy is a four months training and dialogue format for young professionals from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, South Africa and Europe, who work in their home countries in governmental institutions, think tanks, civil society or the private sector.
In the final weeks of the MGG Academy (this year in November 2017), the participants will work in project teams and develop solutions to addressing concrete challenges for the implementation of the Agenda 2030.
The outcome of the project teams can be products of various types: a video, a campaign, a workshop, a policy paper, an app, a blog etc. The key factor is that the product actually addresses the challenge at hand.
In most cases, these products will still be prototypes and not final products.

Ein geeignetes Projektthema

- ist relevant für Sie als Themensteller*in,
- ist angebunden an reale Prozesse,
- steht im Zusammenhang zur Agenda 2030 und den SDGs,
- ist eingrenzbar und bearbeitbar in drei Wochen.
Hintergrundinformation
Die MGG Academy ist ein Dialog- und Trainingsprogramm für Nachwuchsführungskräfte aus Brasilien, China, Indien, Indonesien, Mexiko, Südafrika und Europa, die in ihren Heimatländern in Regierungsinstitutionen, Think Tanks, der Zivilgesellschaft und dem Privatsektor arbeiten.
In der letzten Phase der MGG Academy entwickeln die Teilnehmer*innen in Project Teams Lösungsvorschläge zu konkreten Herausforderungen der Agenda 2030.
Die Lösungsvorschläge werden in Form eines Produkts entwickelt und können ganz unterschiedliche Formen annehmen: ein Video, eine Kampagne, ein Workshop, ein Policy Paper, eine Ausstellung, eine App, eine Stadtführung, ein Blog oder vieles andere mehr. Entscheidend ist, dass das Produkt einen direkten Beitrag zur Problembearbeitung leistet.
Wichtig für die Themengeber*innen ist, dass die vorgeschlagenen Produkte in den meisten Fällen noch kein Endergebnis, sondern ein Prototyp sein werden.
