The ELD Initiative builds on a network of political organizations and research institutions as partners and provides an interface for both sectors.

In the context of the International Year of Soils the ELD Initiative will present reports for decision makers from different target groups, including science, policy and the private sector.

The lecture will introduce participants to the ELD Initiative, its approach and its structure and focus on the ELD publications and capacity building activities.
