BMBF: Green Talents 2015 | Deadline: 2 June 2015

The deadline for submissions to the “Green Talents – International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development” is drawing nearer. Applicants only have until 2 June 2015, 12 p.m. CET to participate online at www.greentalents.de.

As a reminder: each year the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) looks for 25 outstanding young researchers from around the world. The Green Talents come from various scientific disciplines and are recognised for their achievements in developing green solutions to the key environmental and societal issues of our time. A high-ranking jury of German experts from academia and industry honours the winners for their original ideas and excellent research in the field of sustainable development. The award includes the following:

  • Participation in a fully funded two-week science forum in Germany (17/10 – 31/10/2015), during which the Green Talents are given an inspiring backstage tour of the country’s top R&D locations.

  • Individual appointments with experts of their choice to present and advance their personal work during the science forum.

  • An invitation to return to Germany in 2016 for a fully funded research stay of up to three months. At a facility of their choice, the Green Talents will gain new experiences and advance their professional careers while establishing long-lasting partnerships.

  • Exclusive access to the “Green Talents Network” of over 130 high potentials in sustainable development from over 40 countries.
