The lecture will be given by Louise Luttikholt from Helvetas. The lecturer will present several dimensions of food security and put the notion in a broader development context. The formal UN approach will get compared with the civil society concept of food sovereignty. Further, she will examine the constraints of planetary boundaries on food production. The implications of which are taken up in concrete projects from HELVETAS.
