The brochure Introduced Non-Native Waterbirds – Status within the African-Eurasian Flyways was developed in collaboration with the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) and summarises the impacts that non-native waterbirds have on other waterbird species and the environment within the African-Eurasian Flyways. Several case studies of non-native species describe the effects on native waterbird species in particular. Measures to prevent introductions or reduce their impact are also discussed as well as the difficulties in finding solutions to the problems caused by non-native waterbird species. This brochure is available in English and French.
